A VMA is an important warning message that is broadcast when something serious happens.
It could be a major accident, a fire with hazardous smoke, or a situation where something in the community isn’t working as it should. When a VMA is broadcast, the goal is for everyone to know what’s happening and what they should do to stay safe.
