When you see the Nordic Swan on a product, you know it has met strict environmental and health requirements. This means it contains minimal amounts of hazardous chemicals, is manufactured using as little energy as possible, is easy to recycle, and is safe for you to use.To ensure that products have an ever-smaller environmental impact, the Nordic Swan regularly reviews its standards and makes them more stringent. The Nordic Swan is a Nordic ecolabel. The organization behind the Nordic Swan is also responsible for the European ecolabel, the EU Flower, which operates in the same way as the Nordic Swan.Their vision is for the Nordic Swan to help the Nordic region become a role model for a sustainable way of life. REQUIREMENTS

KRAV-certified food should taste good while also being good for people, animals, and nature. Animals are allowed to live naturally, spend a lot of time outdoors, and move about freely. KRAV food is grown without synthetic chemical pesticides, which benefits flowers, bees, and other pollinators. Good Environmental Choice

"Good Environmental Choice" is the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation’s eco-label for goods and services that are better for the environment, nature, and health. To qualify for the “Good Environmental Choice” label, products must meet strict requirements. They must not contain hazardous chemicals, must use energy and resources efficiently, and must be easy to reuse or recycle. Fairtrade

Do you also love chocolate cake, fruit salad, and ice cream?All of these contain ingredients that grow in countries far away from Sweden. But did you know that the people who grow things like cocoa, bananas, and vanilla often earn very little money? Even though they work from early morning until late at night, sometimes they don’t even have enough money for food. Then their children might have to work instead of going to school. That’s why Fairtrade exists—it stands for fair trade. Fairtrade works to ensure that the people who grow the food we eat can also eat their fill.
